We looked at Matthew 4:1-11, which is the story of Jesus in the wilderness. Jesus was in fact tempted...it really happened. Jesus not only experienced temptation when he was on this earth but he also experienced joys, relationships, betrayal, etc... He experienced life and as result... He understands what it's like to live. He understands what it's like to be us. He understands.
