I’d have to actually say the same thing… I can’t believe how lucky I am to pastor Embrace… as a pastor, you “have to” love the people… you “have to” hang out with them… you “have to” enjoy them… you “have to”… I’ve never once felt this way about Embrace… but rather it’s “I get to…” “I’m blessed to…” “I’m thankful to…” It’s the type of people I’d hang out with if I could hand pick my friends…
Ditto to what Chris and Adam said. I have to say the most special thing about Embrace is the special people that attend. Embrace Church is a wonderful place, the people really do “embrace” you with compassion, friendship, and prayers. Adam, the pastor, is a cool guy too!
My favorite thing is how genuine, real and transparent the whole church is. I never feel like it is a performance or a show. Sure, we have great worship music, but that is genuinely Chris. Yes, we have awesome messages, but they are as much for the Pastor as they are for the congregation. What you see is what you get and that is refreshing!
The overall experience including:
People – laid-back genuine people in fellowship and eager to deepen our faith.
Pastor – Adam is easy to follow and he speaks from his heart. I can relate to him and feel his messages are just as much for him as they are for me.
Worship experience – Music is great and I enjoy the ‘chill’ and friendly atmosphere.
We are relatively new to the church and look forward to the many relationships we have/will have from attending Embrace!
I’ve found a group of friends at Embrace that I hope I am blessed with for the next chapters of my life.
It is hard to find people our age who are so dedicated to the Lord and to eachother. Who would have thought we would find a whole church full of these people. I love growing in my faith surrounded by loving people.
My favorite thing about Embrace is the kickball team. I’m looking forward to a great summer of kickball and softball. It’s going to be GREAT in 2008! Oh, I also really like the people, my small group, and the pastor…I guess even better them better than the kickball and softball.
My favorite thing about Embrace is having the chance to connect with God on a more personal level. I also enjoy the great group of people that attend Embrace.
I love being able to worship as I am…without pretence. At Embrace, when someone asks how you’re doing, you can feel that they are truly invested in you. A rare thing to find!
